Bio

Yvette LaFollette, a Cincinnati-based artist, earned her BA from Marietta College and an MA in portraiture from West Virginia University. She continued her training with noted artists such as Daniel Greene and Carl Samson, developing a strong foundation in oil and colored pencil. Her work spans portraiture, still life, and animal subjects—particularly horses, dogs, and cats. Notably, she was invited to paint the racehorse Nureyev and has exhibited at events like Keeneland’s July Sales and the Camargo Hunter Trials.

Yvette works and teaches from her custom-designed home studio and is deeply involved in the community, contributing to projects that offer free portraits for families of fallen soldiers. Her paintings have been recognized in The Artist’s Magazine and featured in prestigious exhibitions across the country. Represented by Eisele Gallery and Art Enclave, she continues to exhibit widely. Yvette and her husband, Ed Mazza, have a daughter, Meredith, and three granddaughters.
