Born in 1963, Liu Su is a member of China Artists Association, council of Beijing Artists Association, and Vice Chairman of Artists association of Xicheng District of Beijing. He is also a visiting professor of the School of Arts at Renmin University of China，and the director of the Department of Arts at Beijing Xuanwu Hongqi Spare-time university. His oil paintings have been exhibited in many countries such as the U.S., France, Spain, Japan, Bangladesh, South Africa and have won many awards. He held his first solo exhibition at the National Art Museum of China in 1992 and held another one at the Green Art Center in 2016. He has issued several albums including ‘Chinese Contemporary Art-The Oil Paintings of Liu Su’, ‘Liu Su-The Artist of Chinese Contemporary Realistic Oil Painting’, ‘Aestheticism-The Oil Paintings of Liu Su’, ‘the Aesthetic Figures’. His oil paintings have also been used as the cover of famous magazines such as ‘Capital’, ‘Crown’,’Leonardo Da Vinci Art Guide’.
