Kathleen Kilgallon

Bio

Kathleen Kilgallon, a painter based in Lebanon, Ohio, has followed a vibrant and evolving artistic path shaped by a lifelong passion for drawing and painting. Though her early career led her through education, marketing, and banking, art remained a constant thread—one she now pursues full-time in retirement.

Her skills, refined through both formal training and self-guided practice, span various mediums including oil and watercolor. Inspired by the landscapes of Ohio, Kathleen often paints en plein air during warmer months and continues her work in her home studio through winter. Known for her expressive brushwork and thoughtful use of color, she credits mentors Robert Brubaker and Thomas Dunlay for shaping her artistic voice. A dedicated member of several regional art organizations, her work has been widely exhibited and well received. She is a member of the Cincinnati Art Club, the Cincinnati Brush and Pallet Painters, the Art Alliance, and the Ohio plein Air society.
