Bio

Judy Anderson’s artistic path began in a world of contrasts—private religious schooling by day, and the creative energy of dance studios and stage performances by night. Surrounded by choreographers, dancers, and designers, she was drawn early to bold colors and fluid lines, always identifying as the Fire Bird, never the dying swan.

Marriage and motherhood brought change, but her creative drive never faded. She sketched constantly, attended workshops, and eventually caught the eye of a commercial studio owner who valued her unique vision. Though untrained in commercial techniques, she learned on the job and thrived—until her husband’s sudden paralysis made her a full-time caregiver. Even then, she carved out nightly hours to make art. After his passing, Judy began working more freely, guided by an imaginative inner world she calls “Judyland”—a personal creative space where expression has no limits and the Fire Bird still soars.
